For as long as I can remember, I have been an avid woodworker, taught by my grandfather from a very early age. As I grew, so did my passion for making things (and taking things apart...) and eventually, there comes a point where there is nothing you "need" to make. SO I started making things I WANTED to make.
Woodworking is not my full time occupation, I don't rely on it for food or to pay my bills. Which is the best way for it to be. There are no time constraints, no deadlines, and no requirement for high volume, low quality items to guarantee my income. What this means is that every item is made because I want to make it, and there's no hurry. I put as much effort and attention to detail into every item I make, whether it is a large piece of furniture or a small ornament.
More recently, I have become taken with the idea of using primarily reclaimed wood in most projects. While I do use store bought wood on occasion, there is something more special about using wood which would otherwise have ended up in a skip to make something entirely new which can be treasured and looked after for many years.
Please have a look around, and if you would like information about any item or to ask about availability, drop me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you like what you see, please help me out by following me on either Facebook or Twitter. As I mentioned this is a secondary interest and I have another full time job so please be patient if there is a delay in responding.
